That time Anthony Bourdain rescued a tomato in my car and other random facts about this New Yorker

You may not know about my past life (or maybe you do). Up until 4 years ago, I was a certified New York Public Library-card-carrying, Metrocard-using, rent-stabilized-living New Yorker. Yep.

And get this, I parked my car on the mean streets of NYC. EVERY. DAMN. DAY. I spent so much time in my car, moving it for alternate-side-of-the-street parking that I launched an interview show in it.

I was reminded of this as a guest on the immensely fun podcast The Circus Life. I was a guest on Justin Trawick’s podcast this past week, along with singer Mike Scoglio and my boyfriend, super-tutor Josh Silverman. (Our dog Murray was there too!)

My first guest was Anthony Bourdain. He needs no introduction. You can watch here: Alt Side with Anthony Bourdain

Enjoy! And Merry Christmas!
