Hi I’m Aidan Sutton a fire fighter from Northern Ireland and on 26th of June 2015 myself and a colleague of mine are travelling to Fairfax Virginia to take part in the World Police and Fire Games. This event is massive and there could be as many as 15,000 competitors arriving to Fairfax and DC never mind those arriving with them. Basically what I’m asking is if there’s any tours of any of the governmental departments like The Whitehouse while we are there. I follow you on Twitter and would be aware that you are very successful in your field. Even if you could email me some information on DC and places we should visit. I’m sure you are a very busy lady and will totally understand if you don’t get the time.
    Many thanks and regards
Aidan Sutton (fire fighter in Ireland)

Hello Aidan – Thank you for writing. I’m familiar with the World Police and Fire Games, and yes, there are so many things to do and see while you are here. I suggest signing up for a White House visit as early as you can. For security reasons, it’s not something you can just show up and do. I also recommend going up in the Washington Monument, that’s free but requires a sign up as well. And lastly, to see the monuments at night is truly breath-taking. Good luck, thanks for following me, and enjoy your visit.
